What is DOTA?

Dota is a warcraft III map made by a team of developers lead by IceFrog.
It is what is refered to an Aeon of Strife map, In which 2 sides face off with a constant spawn of units pushing each others bases from three lanes, and try to take out the main building in their base, while protecting their own.
